Best of Alpaca Underlays combine the practical comfort of an underlay with the superb natural fibre of Alpaca fleece.
Alpaca fleeces are particularly well-suited for bedware since the fibres are hollow. This property makes Best of Alpaca bedware the perfect insulator, warming you when it’s cold, and staying cool when it’s hot. Porous as well as hollow, Alpaca fibres will also absorb up to 35% of their moisture, ensuring that you stay dry while asleep.
Best of Alpaca bedware is hypoallergenic. Providing a naturally clean and dry environment, Alpaca bedware repels Dust mites, which are a common cause of asthma, as well as other allergies. This makes Alpaca bedware perfect for asthmatics and those who suffer from allergies, as well as children. Alpaca fleeces also have considerably lower levels of lanolin than other natural fibers such as wool, making them much cleaner.
Alpaca are farmed in New Zealand only for their fleece, which is shorn annually, and not for their meat. This makes Best of Alpaca bedware suitable for animal lovers and vegans.

Care Instructions: The optimum cleaning method for Best of Alpaca Underlays is a gentle dry-cleaning. However they may be washed in a washing machine set to the Wool/Delicate setting. Drying must take place on a clothes line. NEVER tumble dry. Using a sheet above which can be laundered will reduce the need to launder the underlay itself.
